As we continue to expand our production operations at our factory in Minh Duc Industrial Park, Duong Hao Town, Hung Yen Province, Vietnam, we are looking for 01 Assembly Team Lead who provides both technical and disciplinary management for a team of assembly workers.
Your tasks
1- Routine Responsibilities
- Communicate and coordinate daily and weekly targets in alignment with the company's vision, strategy, and annual objectives.
- Build and maintain trusting and constructive relationships with employees.
- Oversee the timely and high-quality assembly of test probes, receptacles, test fixtures, and related products.
- Identify deviations from target performance and implement appropriate corrective actions.
- Support employees in achieving defined daily and weekly targets.
- Facilitate the continuous improvement and optimization of work standards and target processes.
- Support the implementation of improvement measures, monitor their effectiveness, and integrate successful solutions into standard processes.
- Manage escalation processes using tools such as the Andon Board, Jidoka, and Shop Floor Management.
- Organize and conduct feedback sessions, performance reviews, development discussions, and other employee meetings.
- Plan workforce requirements and support personnel selection and recruitment activities.
- Develop and implement employee training and development plans.
2- Other Responsibilities
- Perform adjustment and setup work on assembly equipment and devices.
- Manufacture parts according to technical drawings using common manufacturing processes or coordinate their production through appropriate resources.
- Carry out or coordinate rework activities and verify functionality and dimensional accuracy.
- Commission, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and production resources.
- Inspect defective equipment based on defect reports and perform disassembly when required.
- Conduct repairs, document and evaluate repair activities, and update maintenance standards where necessary in consultation with relevant stakeholders.
- Take responsibility for fire prevention and firefighting (PCCC), environmental protection, and workplace safety activities within the entire factory.
- Manage internal procurement activities and initiate external procurement of required spare parts, while monitoring delivery schedules and installation progress.
Your skills
- College or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Team Leader or Supervisor in a manufacturing/production environment.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- High level of empathy, teamwork, and commitment.
- Ability to lead and implement change initiatives together with employees.
- Strong assertiveness, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- High level of integrity, reliability, and loyalty.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Office applications, Visio, Power BI, and AutoCAD 3D.
- Good command of both English and Vietnamese, with the ability to communicate effectively in a professional environment.
